Sin permiso: Estudios feministas sobre el conflicto armado vasco
Bellaterra Edicions
This book brings together feminist contributions on the Basque armed conflict. It sets out to dismantle the hegemonic narrative and other discourses that have historically relegated women to mere bystanders. The chapters address the need for a complex reading of the context, emphasizing the importance of a gender perspective to highlight the constant involvement of women in all spaces and positions. To understand the complexity of this process and the scenarios opened after the cessation of ETA's armed struggle in 2011, it is absolutely necessary to listen to the voices of people and groups who research, write, and create in Euskera. The main objective of this book is to make historically invisible realities in the conflict visible. This work is, ultimately, an act of analytical justice and a commitment to the full visibility of Basque reality. A feminist approach to the Basque conflict, highlighting the voices and roles of women.
