International shipments to the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Latin America may be subject to customs inspections, tariffs, taxes, or handling fees upon delivery. In the case of the U.S. and Puerto Rico, these inspections have been strengthened since August 2025; additionally, orders to Mexico and Latin America may transit through U.S. territory, which means they may also incur tax charges upon receipt of the package. Although printed books are usually exempt from tariffs, Plastic Books cannot guarantee this exemption or the criteria applied by each customs authority or carrier.

Plastic Books does not collect these amounts at checkout: if applicable, they will be the sole responsibility of the recipient and may be charged at destination by the shipping company or the competent authorities.
