Somatizando
DURII CREATIVE STUDIO BOOK
She arrives in Madrid at twenty-four years old, with three suitcases and Tinder freshly installed. No family. With an orphan's pension—her father was a soldier; the irony is not lost on her. And with a well-developed obsession to find someone to fill the void.
What she finds: an apartment lit like a Zack Snyder movie, a screenwriting master's full of posh students, and three roommates she didn’t choose. A Colombian without papers who just left the man who had her paralyzed. A Basque woman with a perfect girlfriend whose relationship is starting to crack. And a Valencian with a fascist look who, over time, turns out to be something else.
All four somatizing. All four lost. All four not yet knowing they already have it.
Somatizando is the chronicle of a year of misery and orgasms told with the humor and brutal honesty of someone who lived it, thought about it too much, and needed to write it down.
