Martin releases La Insolación, his first album: a debut of ten songs where indie pop, emotional memory, and literary sensitivity create a deeply personal universe.

The album serves as an artistic introduction following his time on Operación Triunfo and his acting debut in Mariliendre. His songs move forward like fragments of an album of memories: returning summers, lingering emotions, first loves, doubts, desire, and growth.

The title comes from La Insolación, the novel by Carmen Laforet published in 1963. It is not a direct adaptation of the book, but a conceptual support: Martin found in that story, and in its protagonist Martín, a mirror from which to organize part of his own imagination.

The presence of Hidrogenesse is key to the result. More than just accompanying the production, the duo provides a recognizable sonic architecture: pop electronics, elegant strangeness, bright melodies, and a touch of sophistication that places the album in an unusual spot for a debut coming from a television background. The result is intimate, nostalgic, and authorial, but also daring: an album that looks at pop songs from a freer, more literary, and personal territory.
