In 1996, Cristina La Veneno released Veneno pa' tu piel, a maxi single that became a cultural phenomenon in Spain. It included four tracks: two versions of the iconic song "Veneno pa' tu piel" and two of "Rap de La Veneno". In its first edition, it sold more than 50,000 copies, achieving gold record status. This release marked a milestone, becoming a symbol of visibility and acceptance for the LGTBQA+ community during a time of significant social change.
